The need has never been greater and it’s never been easier to make a difference in your community.  Here is your opportunity to make sure that nobody goes without such a basic necessity as a coat this winter.

Armani McFarland is collecting new and gently used coats or cash donations to purchase new coats as part of a making a difference project. Coats of all sizes are needed.

Monday thur Friday 9am-6pm.
Then Armani will take care of the rest. To make monetary donations just click on the Donate button on the right side of this blog. All donated coats will be given to the Christmas Box House, Ogden Rescue Mission, St. Anne’s Center and Catholic Community Services for distribution to local people in need. Please Help!

Backpack Drive

My name is Armani, I am 9 years old and going to be a 4th grader at Majestic Elementary this year. It is important to kids to have a backpack and school supplies when they go back to school. It makes me sad to think of the kids that don’t get even have a backpack to use for school; some kids have to put their papers and school books in a plastic bag. So I have decided to try to help by doing a backpack and school supply drive. I will be taking donations from July 18th until August 9th. And I will be handing them out at Catholic Community Services Backpack Bonanza.
Please Help!

There’s no doubt about it.… times are tough!  While many Utah families are stocking up on school supplies to head back to school, many in our community are struggling to prepare for the upcoming school year. Let’s do our part to help our neighbors, friends and family.
Please join me in helping kids who are in need!

    SCHOOL SUPPLY Items Needed:

Backpacks!                         3-ring binders                   Water color paints
   Pencils                                Pocket folders                 Clorox wipes
  Colored Pencils                    Pencil boxes/pouches       Erasers
   Crayons                               Highlighters                      Loose-leaf paper
    Markers                              Glue/Glue sticks
    Notebooks                          Scissors

Food Drive

Student Collects Nearly 1,000 LBS of Food

Thank you to Armani McFarland, an 8-year old girl from Majestic Elementary, who started a food drive herself and collected nearly 1,000 pounds of food for local food pantries in the last month! She is a kind girl who is always thinking of others before herself. We are so appreciative of her hard work and giving heart. Again, thank you and thank you to all the folks who donated to Armani's food drive!
