Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale

Where:  40th Street Park 

(in front of Wasatch Christian School South Ogden, UT)

Date:  Saturday, July 13, 2013

Time: 10:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

I’m doing my 2nd annual Backpack and School Supply Drive to help kids in our community. This year I’m hosting a lemonade stand and bake sale on July 13th to earn money to buy Backpacks and school supplies. I will also be having a raffle with some great prizes. Donations will be going to Catholic Community Services Backpack Bonanza that I will be volunteering at in mid-August and to a Backpack giveaway that I will be hosting at the Alpine Outreach Center. My goal is to collect or purchase 300 new backpacks and supplies to fill them. All donations will help me to reach my goal.

Book Drive Update

Armani has been busy collecting books for a local shelter

and community outreach center.

Give the Gift of Reading

     A house without books is like a room without windows. 

9 year old Armani McFarland is collecting new and gently used books or cash donations to purchase new books as part of a making a difference project. Children’s books (for infants and children through 9^th grade) to benefit children in need and promote early literacy. Books should be in good condition, without torn pages or writing in them. Please no magazines or textbooks. If you have books to donate please contact Armani at armanibrie@hotmail.com

She will be collecting books from May 3^rd and May 22^nd

To make monetary donations go to Armani’s Blog:  www.onecanmakeachange.blogspot.com and click on the Donate button. All donated books will be distributed to local children in need.
