Backpack Drive

 

My name is Armani, I am 10 years old and going to be a 5th grader at Majestic Elementary this year. It is important to kids to have a backpack and school supplies when they go back to school. It makes me sad to think of the kids that don’t even have a backpack to use for school; some kids have to put their papers and school books in a plastic bag. So I am doing my 2nd annual backpack and school supply drive. I will be taking donations from July 5th until August 6th. And I will be handing them out at Catholic Community Services Backpack Bonanza and Alpine Outreach Centers Backpack Giveaway. These will be going to kids right here in our community.

Please Help!

 

There’s no doubt about it.… times are tough!  While many Utah families are stocking up on school supplies to head back to school, many in our community are struggling to prepare for the upcoming school year.

Let’s do our part to help our neighbors, friends and family.

Please join me in helping kids who are in need!

    SCHOOL SUPPLY Items Needed:

    Backpacks!                         3-ring binders                      Water color paints

   Pencils                                 Pocket folders                     Clorox wipes

  Colored Pencils                   Pencil boxes/pouches        Erasers

   Crayons                                Highlighters                         Loose-leaf paper

    Markers                                Glue/Glue sticks

    Notebooks                           Scissors

Monetary donations are also needed and accepted. 

I will be collecting donations for this project through August 6^th 2013
