2nd Annual Backpack Drive

Backpack Drive

 

My name is Armani, I am 10 years old and going to be a 5th grader at Majestic Elementary this year. It is important to kids to have a backpack and school supplies when they go back to school. It makes me sad to think of the kids that don’t even have a backpack to use for school; some kids have to put their papers and school books in a plastic bag. So I am doing my 2nd annual backpack and school supply drive. I will be taking donations from July 5th until August 6th. And I will be handing them out at Catholic Community Services Backpack Bonanza and Alpine Outreach Centers Backpack Giveaway. These will be going to kids right here in our community.

Please Help!

 

There’s no doubt about it.… times are tough!  While many Utah families are stocking up on school supplies to head back to school, many in our community are struggling to prepare for the upcoming school year.

Let’s do our part to help our neighbors, friends and family.

Please join me in helping kids who are in need!

    SCHOOL SUPPLY Items Needed:

Armani preparing  for the Lemonade Stand and Bake Sale

 

 

A Big Thank You to everyone who came out to support Armani at her Bake Sale, Lemonade Stand and Raffle! It was a lot of fun and a huge success! Armani would like to give a special thank you to all  the people who worked so hard to make this all possible. Thanks to everyone who volunteered, to everyone who came and donated and to all the businesses who donated!

Armani raised $1,201.50 to help buy backpacks and school supplies for kids in need.

I’m doing my 2nd annual Backpack and School Supply Drive to help kids in our community. This year I’m hosting a lemonade stand and bake sale on July 13th to earn money to buy Backpacks and school supplies. I will also be having a raffle with some great prizes. Donations will be going to Catholic Community Services Backpack Bonanza that I will be volunteering at in mid-August and to a Backpack giveaway that I will be hosting at the Alpine Outreach Center. My goal is to collect or purchase 300 new backpacks and supplies to fill them. All donations will help me to reach my goal.
